Workshop objectives
1. Note the current status of the Project
2. Promote understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation
and provide recommendations on the proposed M&E
framework
3. Learn more about major project topic areas, in
particular: Large Marine Ecosystems; the Ecosystem
Approach to resource management; socio-economic
monitoring and livelihoods diversification; and TDA
and SAP development
4. Promote awareness of developments that have
occurred in each Project country that might affect
the Project.

regional bodies and non-government organisations

Project up to its First Project Steering Committee
(PSC) meeting
8. Prepare a list of actions that BOBLME countries need
to undertake in preparation for the First PSC meeting
9. Endorse a process for the selection of one of the
BOBLME countries to host the Project's Regional
Coordination Unit (RCU).
